Our Journey— The Landscapers Who Created Link And Lock

How It Began

As landscapers, we were tired of struggling with subpar edging products. Our installation business demanded a reliable solution, but nothing on the market met our standards. We tried them all—plastic, composite, steel, aluminum—only to find each one was terrible.

We found no such edging that installed quickly or easily, and every single one left us with uneven seams, bulky overlaps, and/or hideous anchors. Frustrated, we decided to take matters into our own hands and design the edging product we wished existed.

Identifying the Problem

After countless frustrating experiences—wasted time, wasted money, wasted energy—we knew there had to be a better way. Clean, precise, professional-looking edging is essential to any landscape project, and yet every option out there made installation a nightmare. We needed something fast and easy to install without sacrificing quality. Since we couldn’t find it, we committed to creating it ourselves.

Designing the Solution

With a clear vision in mind, we dove headfirst into the design process. We invested in a CNC machine, learned CAD/CAM software, and spent countless hours at the work table sketching out ideas. Every detail mattered—durability, seamless connections, ease of installation—and we weren’t stopping until we got it right.

Bringing the Product to Life

After months of hard work, we finally had our prototype. The moment we installed it, we knew—we had built something special. No gaps, no shifting, no ugly anchors—just clean, crisp, professional edging. It was everything we had been searching for. Now, it was time to get it into the hands of the people who needed it most: landscape pros who need efficiency and homeowners who deserve sleek, high-quality edging.

Sharing the Success

When we launched our product, the response was overwhelming. Landscapers, contractors, and DIYers all saw the difference immediately. The feedback confirmed what we already knew: the industry needed this. Seeing our creation help others transform their landscapes has been the most rewarding part of this journey.

With 16 combined years in landscaping, we’ve seen what works—and what doesn’t. We built Link & Lock Edging because we needed it ourselves, and now, we’re proud to share it with professionals and homeowners who refuse to settle for anything less than the best.

This is more than just edging—it’s a game-changer for the industry. And we’re just getting started.
